WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

At EDxEDNYC, we call our conference sessions "conversations."
That's because EDxEDNYC sessions are not just about someone with a slideshow presenting to a passive audience. They're about interactive, genuine and engaging conversation. Our "presenters" are really facilitators, there to guide participants through a meaningful and awesome conversation and learning session. We welcome educators from all over to propose 60-Minute Conversation Sessions to engage and inspire! Because our conference is virtual, we encourage you to really consider how to make your session work remotely to engage and inspire.

AND WHO CANNOT

EDxEDNYC is for educators by educators, so presenters must be active educators. We specifically do not allow non-educators to present at EDxEDNYC to avoid sessions that may be of a commercial nature.
